Born to George and Agnes (nee Carpenter, formally Barker) Stevens on 30/03/1903 at 80 Pound Street, Warminster, Wiltshire. Younger step-sister of John Barker (1894-1961), Lily Barker (1897-1993) and Ethel Barker (1902-1928); also sister of Gladys (b1906) and George (1908). Married Herbert David Clements at Corsley in 1934. Mother of Lily Joan Stevens (1924-1990), Herbert John (1935-1960), Gwendoline Shirley (1938-), Hilda Doreen (1938-) and Raymond David (1944-); my grandmother. Died 30/03/1977.
