James Bambury
James Bambury buried 31/3/1799 at St Thomas, Portsea. James is the earliest ancester I can find in my tree. Not sure when he was born or where he came from - possibly Oxford. Also buried at same place John Clarke on 31/3/1799, and William, son of William Fry on 1/4/1799 and William, son of William Clarke on 1/4/1799. Fry and Clarke also appear in my family tree. I wonder if some sort of accident or illness befell all of these men!!
